About Fear Me: Jeff the Killer's Dating Sim

Fear Me is a suspense and romance visual novel built around the creepypasta character Jeff the Killer. You work as a clerk in a video store, and on what seems like a normal shift you meet a mysterious man who takes a deep interest in you. To romance him you first have to survive him — earning his trust is the only way through. It is a fan game, and an openly satirical take on visual novel and horror clichés.

Why Fear Me Feels Different From Other Horror Games

Fear Me knows exactly how absurd a killer dating sim is, and plays the clichés for laughs while keeping the danger real.

  • More than 34,000 words, 40 CGs and 9 endings.
  • A gender-neutral main character.
  • Two other possible love interests besides Jeff — one male, one female.
  • Hand-drawn characters over photo backgrounds of shops and streets.
  • Written in English and Spanish, as a self-aware satire of the genre.

How To Play Fear Me: Jeff the Killer's Dating Sim?

Stay alive first. Romance is a second-act problem.

  • Press Play Now and start your shift at the video store.
  • Click to advance; the row under the text box has Back, History, Skip, Auto, Save and Prefs.
  • Answer carefully once the hooded customer starts asking about you.
  • Save before tense conversations so you can explore other endings without replaying from the start.
  • Try a run focused on one of the other two love interests to see a different side of the story.

Who Will Enjoy Fear Me: Jeff the Killer's Dating Sim?

  • Creepypasta fans who grew up with Jeff the Killer.
  • Players who like horror comedy that knows it is being ridiculous.
  • Anyone who wants plenty of endings to chase.
  • Fans of Bloody Painter Dating Sim looking for another creepypasta romance.
  • If “go to sleep” sounds like flirting to you, clock in.

Can You Survive Long Enough to Win Him Over?

The joke at the heart of Fear Me is that the dating sim formula still works even when the love interest is a known murderer. The game leans into it, but it also makes his trust genuinely hard to earn.

Don't treat the other two romance options as a side menu. The routes away from Jeff are a good way to learn the town and the store before you try the riskier paths.

Clock in, keep your head down, and see whether he lets you go to sleep.
