Play ClownTastic Romance free online in your browser if you want a crime-comedy dating sim that opens with you tied in a basement. A shadowed clown quizzes you as the wrong captive, then the lights come up on Nikolai — a magician clown who realizes the mix-up and still wants a date. ClownTastic Romance is a Ren'Py visual novel with grocery runs, spa nights, theme-park outings, a cooking board, a dress-up screen, and a bandage timing challenge when things go wrong. Version 1.0 is complete: you can chase all six endings in the script.

What Can You Actually Do in ClownTastic Romance?

Give your ClownTastic Romance session a goal: survive the basement quiz, finish one date, clear a minigame without fumbling, or unlock one of the six endings. These steps keep the banter from turning into a blur.

• Talk your way out of the basement. ClownTastic Romance starts with a shadowed Nikolai who thinks you leaked a plan — until he reads the file and realizes you are the wrong captive.
• Pick date routes as they open: spa, park/theme park, ferris wheel, and home nights sit alongside grocery, bar, and dance scenes.
• Play the cooking board. Nikolai walks you through hot chocolate, pancakes, and brownies; wrong recipes raise a fail count and get you a disappointed chef.
• Use the dress-up screen to cycle tops, pants, shoes, and hats before a night out.
• When Nikolai is wounded, clear the bandage timing minigame by pressing Space while the needle sits in the safe zone. Misses flash Fumble; hits flash Wrap. You have about fifteen seconds.
• Chase all six endings: Regular Love, Partners In Crime, Throuple, Rivalry, Friends with Benefits, and True Love. Persistent ending flags track which ones you have already seen.

How To Play ClownTastic Romance?

Press Play Now to load ClownTastic Romance in the browser. Choose Start for a new run or Load to resume a save.

• Click or tap to advance dialogue, or use Enter and Space. Esc opens the Ren'Py game menu.
• Use the quick menu for Back, History, Skip, Auto, Save, Q.Save, Q.Load, and Prefs.
• Save before major date menus and before ending-facing choices so you can compare routes without replaying the basement.
• During the bandage minigame, watch the swinging needle and press Space in the green band. You have about fifteen seconds.
• In the baking minigame, follow Nikolai's recipe order — hot chocolate, then pancakes, then brownies — and the hints (pancakes: no butter; brownies: no milk).
• On the dress-up screen, use the arrow buttons for each clothing slot, then Done when the look is ready.
• Adjust text speed, auto-forward, and audio mixers in Preferences. Try landscape on a phone and Fullscreen from the player chrome.
• If you want a desktop build of ClownTastic Romance, use Download ClownTastic Romance on this page. Browser saves do not automatically copy into a downloaded version.
